Event Details

Join Quogue Wildlife Refuge as they teach you all about turtles, terrapins and tortoises. Chelonian anatomy and physical adaptations will be discussed, as well as what types of native turtles can be found on Long Island. Teens will learn how to help native turtles in the wild. See various artifacts such as shells, eggs, posters and meet a variety of live turtles and tortoises that are cared for at the Refuge.
