New York, New York is the dazzling new Broadway musical about pursuing artistic dreams in the “city that never sleeps” in the years following the ending of World War II. Based loosely on the 1977 Scorsese film of the same name, the musical blends new songs and big band classics into a unique and beautiful tribute to New York, and features a score by John Kander & Fred Ebb, an original story by David Thomson with Sharon Washington, additional lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, and visionary direction and choreography by Susan Stroman.
