Eve Harrington (Anne Baxter) is an ambitious young actress who slyly maneuvers her way into the lives of aging Broadway star Margo Channing (Bette Davis) and her circle of friends. Her goal-- to take over Margo’s career and her fiancé. The film was nominated for 14 Oscars, winning for Best Picture and Best Director, and is famous for the quote, “Fasten your seat belts; it’s going to be a bumpy night.”
