Leo and Angela Russo live a traditional, blue collar life in Queens surrounded by their outspoken and colorful network of Italian-American relatives and friends. When their son “Sticks” is given the opportunity to turn his success on the high school basketball team into something more and to move beyond traditional expectations, Leo tears the family apart trying to make it happen.
