Event Details

The Spaghetti Western was born in the first half of the sixties and lasted into the seventies. The name comes from the fact that most of the films were directed and produced by Italians, including one of the most influential filmmakers, Sergio Leone. The history and style, and influences and origins of these Westerns will be discussed, as well as their influence on later generations of filmmakers. Included will be clips from films such as, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, Once Upon a Time in The West, and more.
