Friday Matinee: The Big Sick

This heartwarming film tells the true story of a romance that blossoms between Kumail, an aspiring Pakistani comedian, and Emily, an American grad student, as they struggle with the differences in their cultures.  When Emily is hospitalized with a mysterious illness, Kumail is forced to deal with her feisty parents, his family’s expectations and his true feelings.
