Homemade extracts are easy to make, great for gifting, inexpensive, and don't contain creepy ingredients like their supermarket cousins. If you do a lot of baking or cooking, you'll use a lot of extracts. They're great gifts as well. The shelf life of these extracts is almost indefinite!
