Learn to dance the West Coast Swing with professional dancer and instructor Michelle Vicale. West Coast Swing (WCS) originated in California in the 1940s as a smoother evolution of the Lindy Hop. As swing music slowed, dancers adapted Lindy Hop’s energetic style into a more fluid partner dance. Fun fact: WCS became California’s official state dance in 1988!
