Join Christopher Weaver and Michael Salvarezza of Eco Photo Explorers as they take a virtual look at the fascinating history of some of Long Island’s most interesting lighthouses. Viewers will travel from Coney Island to Montauk, examining lighthouse architecture, their technology, and the stories that make these vital structures such an integral part of our local history. They will discuss the story behind Long Island’s Life Saving Services, and conclude with a celebration of the dramatic beauty of lighthouses both on L.I. and around the country.
