We will explore the history of the short story, including noting some famous works, and the genres within the form such as Flash Fiction. The instructor will guide each student in completing an in-class short story assignment. He will also offer options for posting stories online, point out short story contests, and present guidelines for publishing a collection. Passadino, of the Long Island Author's Group, is the author of two short story books, a poetry book, and several short plays and sketches.
