Join author Rob Samborn for a virtual reading and discussion of his new book, THE PRISONER OF PARADISE. Set in Venice, Italy in the present and 16th century, this riveting new thriller blends historical fiction and magical realism, whisking readers away to the world’s most mesmerizing city. On Nick and Julia O’Connor’s dream trip to Venice, Nick comes to believe that his true soul mate is not Julia, but a woman whose soul has been imprisoned in the world’s largest oil painting by an ancient religious order—along with thousands of other souls. Nick is desperate to save his love from another life, but liberating her means releasing every soul, all of whom have been judged as evil. The order will never let that happen.  Following the reading, Rob will discuss the book, writing and travel to Venice in an interactive Q & A session.  Born and raised in the city and on Long Island, Rob now makes his home in Denver.
