Event Details

This pre-recorded musical revue, featuring NYC award-winning cabaret artist Valerie diLorenzo, celebrates the 2020 Centennial of women’s right to vote and traces the history of women’s rights in America.  She will start at the beginning, with connections to the early Civil Rights movement, and bring us all the way to the modern feminist legacy, #MeToo movement and female empowerment, through exuberant, lively, sometimes humorous – and often touching-songs.

Presented by The Friends of the Rogers Memorial Library, East End Libraries, Southampton History Museum, and League of Women Voters of the Hamptons, Shelter Island and North Fork.
