Event Details

Coming Clean is a beautifully written and heartbreaking memoir about Kimberly’s experiences growing up as the daughter of hoarding parents.  The book describes in clear and vivid language the challenges and shame of living in an unsanitary and junk-filled home that resulted from her parents’ illness.  Join Kimberly as she discusses coming to terms with her parents’ hoarding and the complicated yet loving relationship that she has with her parents today.

*This event is part of a series of workshops entitled "Quiet Minds and Hopeful Voices: Erasing the Stigma of Mental Illness" which is dedicated to raising awareness about mental illness and erasing the stigma associated with this heartbreaking diagnosis for individuals and families.
