Entering 1st-5th

Ages birth-17 months.

A rhyme and storytime for our very young listeners. Share stories, rhymes, songs, instruments and puppets.

*Pre-registration required. 

Improve and support overall health and well-being through the practice of yoga. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing.

Fee: $45  Advance online registration and payment required.

Please join us for a 20-minute session to sit still and practice the kind of deep breathing that fosters calm well-being and can improve our health and our outlook.

Ages Birth-5 years

Get ready to twist and shout and rock around the room with your little one. Join the ladies from Play Hooray for an interactive, energetic, and musical fun time!!!  *Pre-registration required.

Join friends for a game of bridge.  Card and bidding boxes will be provided.  No instructors onsite.

Clap your hands, stomp your feet and wiggle to the beat with Nicole Summers as you and your child explore rhythm and movement. *Pre-registration required

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese mind/body self-healing practice of slow and graceful movements accompanied by deep breathing that improves balance, slows down the aging process, and reduces stress.

We’ll share a musical storytime with tale and songs about cats, dogs, and mice. Let’s wave colored scarves to match the moods of the music! *Pre-registration required

Tap dancing is a great way to develop musicality, timing and balance.  Join instructor Mary Castro as she helps students establish fundamental tap movements and combinations that progress into exciting dance routines.

Enjoy a friendly game of mahjong with friends and neighbors. Two mahjong sets available. For additional sets, feel free to bring your own.  No instructor onsite.

History book club alternating between historical fiction and non-fiction titles every 4th Friday of the month at 1:00pm.

Calling All Word Lovers! Flex your vocabulary muscles by joining other enthusiasts for an afternoon of Scrabble and other word games. Scrabble, Boggle, and other word games provided.  Walk-ins welcome.

This course is designed to help teens develop the skills necessary for the responsibility of being a sitter-- child safety, developmental stages of children and how to plan activities that are age appropriate.

Join Sharon Reichman from the Alzheimer's Disease Resource center to explore general information for those "new" to the impact of a family member living with symptoms of dementia. 

Decorate a pet bandana to be donated to the local animal shelter.  Community Service hours will be awarded and prior registration is necessary.

Come design, build and create your own kaleidoscope with colorful beads and color patterns. We'll also make a pair of 3d glasses using color strips. *Pre-registration required

Entering K-5^th

Using sparkly rhinestones, bedazzle the book covers of one of your favorite books. 

Get ready to serve up some fun! Join us as we become baristas for the day, making fancy drinks, decorating aprons, and dishing up pastries a la the library’s new Bookmark Café!
