Program Description

Event Details

Learn the basics of sewing in a four-week series with the library’s own Antoinette Walker. In the first session, students will learn basic sewing skills, sewing terminology, and the functions of the sewing machine.  The second session will focus on using patterns, choosing the right fabric for a sewing project, and more. The last two sessions will be dedicated to working on an individual sewing project with the teacher’s guidance – perhaps creating a new garment or redesigning a piece of clothing you already own.   Fee: $25.  Advance online registration and payment required.

Register: Online at www.myrml.org.  Size Limit: 6.
