A representative from the Suffolk County Office of the Aging will meet one-on-one to discuss different benefits and programs that Suffolk County offers its senior residents.

A Veteran Peer Mentor from the Joseph P. Dwyer Veterans Peer Support Project will visit the library to distribute helpful resources to veterans and their families. No appointments necessary, just walk in! 

Lena Horne is an iconic figure whose life is an interesting reflection of her era. Born into an upper-middle-class community in Brooklyn, her mother took her away from that life and pushed her into the chorus of the Cotton Club at age sixteen.
