Ages birth to 5 years

Get ready to wiggle and giggle as we share songs, fingerplays, rhymes and parachute play.

*Pre- registration required. 

Improve and support overall health and well-being through the practice of yoga. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing.

Please join us for a 20-minute session to sit still and practice the kind of deep breathing that fosters calm well-being and can improve our health and our outlook.

Ages 18-35 months

July 18: Painting Fishes

Enjoy time with your toddler while they explore different art mediums.  *Pre-registration Required. Class size is limited. Things may get messy, so please dress accordingly.

Assist small children with crafts. For more information on specific crafts for each week, contact the Teen Department.  Prior registration is necessary.

Assist with maintenance of the Library Demonstration Garden.  Dress for a mess!

Ages birth-35 months    

Join us as we share stories, songs, puppets and action rhymes. *Pre-registration required.

Join friends for a game of bridge.  Card and bidding boxes will be provided.  No instructors onsite.  Registration required.  Size Limit: 16. 

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese mind/body self-healing practice of slow and graceful movements accompanied by deep breathing that improves balance, slows down the aging process, and reduces stress.

The Alzheimer's Disease Resource Center is a Long Island-based social service agency that works with families impacted by Alzheimer's Disease or another dementia.

Tap dancing is a great way to develop musicality, timing and balance.  Join instructor Mary Castro as she helps students establish fundamental tap movements and combinations that progress into exciting dance routines.

A Veteran Peer Mentor from the Joseph P. Dwyer Veterans Peer Support Project will visit the library to distribute helpful resources to veterans and their families. No appointments necessary, just walk in!

Have fun taking part in this The Upside Down Escape Room! (AKA Stranger Things). You and your team will explore the Upside Down as you decipher clues and solve puzzles to try and escape within one hour!
